Cookie Policy
Last updated: 17 July 2025 · Applies to: rait.ie
Plain-English Summary
This website uses only the cookies it absolutely needs to function. We do not track you, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers or any third parties. If you have questions, email us at [email protected].
3. No Tracking or Profiling
We do not use any of the following:
- Analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar)
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Behavioural profiling or fingerprinting
- Cross-site tracking of any kind
- Social-media tracking pixels
If we introduce privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics in the future (such as Plausible Analytics), this policy will be updated before any change takes effect and a revised notice will be displayed.
4. Third-Party Cookies
We do not load any third-party scripts, iframes, or widgets that set cookies on our behalf. This includes social-share buttons, embedded maps, and ad networks.
The only external requests this site makes are to load fonts and assets from our own CDN. These requests do not result in any third-party cookies being placed on your device.
5. Your Consent
Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, consent is not required for strictly necessary cookies. Because we use only strictly necessary local storage, we do not require your consent to set these items.
We display a cookie notice when you first visit the site to make you aware of this policy. Clicking Accept on that notice simply records that you have seen it (stored as rait_cookie_consent in your browser). It does not grant us any additional permissions, because we are not seeking any.
What “Accept” means here
Pressing Accept on the cookie banner confirms you have read and understood this notice. It does not enable tracking or advertising. Your data remains yours.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we introduce any non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy first and display a new consent notice before setting any such cookies.
8. Contact Us
If you have any questions about how we use cookies or local storage, please contact us:
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission Ireland.
